It's been said that a place isn't a place until an artist defines it for us. The place
that Williams defines takes its cues from the cowboy way of life he reveres. 'The
fabric of 'the Cowboy way' has woven into it a number of philosophies such as:
Take care of your livestock before you take care of yourself: your word is your
bond: and a belief that brotherly love is not just something you read somewhere,
but the act of reaching out to your neighbor.', says Williams. Through each
sculpture, I want people to experience what I feel about this way of life.
